New York Times' says "Luscious, luminous, lilting lullabies" to describe the songstress duo Lucius, fronted by Jess Wolfe & Holly Laessig. The two met in 2006 while at school in Boston. A year later they relocated to Brooklyn, where they moved into an old recording studio and music school formerly called the Bromley School of Music. With the help of the Bromley's original 1921 Steinway piano that was left at the house, they penned their debut album "Songs From the Bromley House."
The duo have been compared by the New York Times as "The next Feist" and Seventeen Magazine describe them as alluring and magnetic. The band is currently in the studio finishing their Sophomore record with illustrious producer, Tony Berg (of Beck and Amy Mann fame), which is due this Summer.
