Nominaties 2014 MTV Movie Awards bekend

12 Years a Slave, American Hustle, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug en The Wolf of Wall Street strijden dit jaar om de felbegeerde award 'Movie of the Year'.
Naast deze vurig gewenste awards worden er onder andere ook awards uitgereikt voor ‘Best Female Performance’, ‘Best Male Performance’, ‘Best Kiss’, ‘Best Scared-As-ST Performance’ en ‘Best #WTF Moment’.
De live show wordt op 13 april live vanuit het Nokia Theater LA in Los Angeles uitgezonden en gepresenteerd door de met een Emmy Award bekroonde comedian Conan O’Brien.
Fans kunnen van 6 maart tot 12 april hun stem uitbrengen op hun favoriete film en acteur via de website www.MovieAward.MTV.com.
